LISTOWEL – The COVID-19 outbreak initially announced at Listowel Memorial Hospital (LMH) on March 12 has been declared over.
Listowel Wingham Hospitals Alliance representatives stated that the outbreak officially came to an end on Monday, March 28.
Three initial COVID-19 cases were confirmed amongst two patients and one staff member on the first floor complex continuing care unit at LMH. The number grew to 10 cases (nine patients, one staff) in the following days.
