To the editor,
I am requesting any person who is a teacher, student, parent and/or grandparent to look up and read Ontario Bill 67, Racial Equity in the Education System Act, 2022.
This bill is presented to promote racial equity. It is NOT an anti-racist bill. It lists all visible races except white. It talks about conscious or subconscious ideas about race. This is a thought policing statement.
Please take the opportunity to read the proposed bill and be informed about what this will mean for any human being.
This bill does not encourage teachers to teach and promote the love of learning. It promotes fear and suspicion based on the terms that have yet to be written. Who will decide the agreed upon terms?
