HURON EAST – Huron County OPP and the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement (TIME) Team continue to investigate a motor vehicle collision that occurred late Friday night near Ethel.
At approximately 11p.m. on March 18, Huron County OPP responded to Ethel Line just south of Ethel after receiving information about a vehicle that had left the roadway and ended up in the Maitland River.
OPP Underwarter Search & Recovery Unit (USRU) and OPP Urban Search and Rescue, Chemical Biological, Radiological Nuclear and Explosives Response Team (UCRT) members successfully recovered the deceased from the submerged pickup on March 20.
The deceased has been identified as Jose Arisa-Gudiel, 32, from Huron East.
