Proof of vaccination no longer required at arena

BROCKTON – As the Province of Ontario enters its next phase of the Reopening Roadmap, the Municipality of Brockton is implementing the following changes to services:

  • The Walkerton Community Centre, Cargill Community Centre, and Elmwood Community Centre are open to the public.
  • As of March 1, vaccination verification is no longer required to enter these facilities, and capacity restrictions have been lifted. Individuals entering the facilities are still required to wear a face covering until further notice. Staff encourage passive self-screening for COVID-19 symptoms.

What you can do to help:

  • Get vaccinated as soon as eligible and possible.
  • Wear a face covering (upgrade from a cloth mask).
  • Stay home if you are sick, and stay home if you have COVID-19 symptoms.
  • Maintain physical distancing as much as possible.
  • Complete a daily COVID screening of symptoms.
  • Wash hands frequently.
