Skating oval still an attraction

Despite yo-yo weather patterns that have included extreme cold, snow, rain and unusually warm temperatures, the skating oval in Lobies Park continues to attract skaters of all ages – a credit to the hard work of recreation department staff. The skating oval and cross-country ski trail have proved to be a draw for visitors to the area, as well as gym classes at local schools and families out to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery.
