LISTOWEL – The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police has charged a North Perth resident after one person was assaulted during a domestic occurrence.
Police were called to an address on Victoria Avenue South, in the Municipality of North Perth, just before 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 27, for two people who were having an argument. During the investigation, it was determined that one person involved in the argument had assaulted the other, and had damaged property. There were no serious injuries as a result of the assault.
A 24-year-old resident of North Perth has been arrested and charged with assault – spousal, and mischief under $5,000.
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charge.
