NORTH PERTH – An ongoing police investigation has resulted in a number of charges for a North Perth resident.
The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police commenced a sexual assault investigation earlier in December 2021 in the Municipality of North Perth. As a result, police have arrested and charged one person in relation to incidents that occurred between 2019 and 2021.
A 33-year-old resident of North Perth has been charged with: Sexual assault on person under 16 years of age, sexual interference, forcible confinement, and sexual assault.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
