LISTOWEL – Police have charged a North Perth resident with assault as a result of a recent domestic occurrence.
Perth County OPP were called to a Wallace Avenue South address around 2 p.m. on Nov. 24, where two people were having an argument. Police say their investigation determined that one person involved in the argument had assaulted the other.
Police reported no serious injuries from the incident.
A 36-year-old resident of North Perth was arrested and charged with assault – spousal.
Police do not release the names of those involved in domestic occurrences in order to protect the identity of the victim(s).
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Stratford court at a later date to answer to the charge.
