Impaired driver arrested following collision

PERTH EAST – On Oct. 20 just after 1:30 p.m., the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was alerted to a single-vehicle collision on Line 34 in the Township of Perth East.

After a brief foot pursuit, the driver of the motor vehicle was arrested and transported to local detachment where further tests were completed. As a result, Nathan Dingman, 31, of Stratford, has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs.

The accused in this matter was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charge.
