HURON-PERTH – To maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, staff and physicians, effective Nov. 1 all family, support persons and visitors will be required to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination before entering a Wingham or Listowel hospital building.
This policy is based on guiding principles adopted by all southwest Ontario hospitals. Some exceptions would permit the presence of non-vaccinated family and caregiver(s) such as paediatric patients, support persons of delivering mothers, and family of palliating patients.
Please note these guidelines apply only to family and caregivers, not to patients or those seeking medical treatment. Please do not delay in seeking medical care if needed.
