GREY-BRUCE – The Bluewater District School Board and Grey Bruce Catholic District School Board are advising that COVID-19 vaccination should be at the top of the to-do list for back-to-school preparations.
All students aged 12 and up are urged to get both first and second doses of the vaccine before returning to school, if possible.
Mobile clinics are being held in school parking lots. Although they’re geared to students and their families, they’re open to all.
Upcoming clinics include the following:
- Wednesday, Aug. 25, 4-7 p.m. – Walkerton – for Sacred Heart High School students – at St. Teresa of Calcutta parking lot because of construction.
- Friday, Aug. 27, 5-7 p.m. – Owen Sound – St. Mary’s High School.
- Monday, Aug. 30, 4-7 p.m. – Meaford – Georgian Bay Community School.
- Tuesday, Aug. 31, 4-7 p.m. – Hanover – John Diefenbaker Senior School.
- Wednesday, Sept. 1, 4-7 p.m. – Kincardine – Kincardine District Senior School.
- Thursday, Sept. 2, 4-7 p.m. – Owen Sound – Owen Sound District School.
- Friday, Sept. 2, 4-7 p.m. – Port Elgin – Saugeen District Senior School.
