LISTOWEL – One person is facing charges in the Municipality of North Perth following thefts from vehicles.
Just after 6 p.m. on Aug. 16, the Perth County OPP responded to a report of a person entering unlocked vehicles in the area of Krotz Street in Listowel. Police attended the area and an investigation was initiated.
Police arrested and charged Owen Sinclair, 18, of North Perth. Sinclair was charged with theft under $5,000 from a motor vehicle and mischief – obstructs, interrupts or interferes with the lawful use, enjoyment or operation of property.
The accused was released from custody. Sinclair is scheduled to appear in Stratford court at a later date to answer to the charges.
