50 people take part in CIBC Run for the Cure, Oct. 1

CIBC Run for the Cure Listowel coordinator Kim Hutchings-Hahn (right), accompanied by Vicki Leppington (middle) and Connie Shiel (left), lead a group of roughly 50 people at the Oct. 1 event at Listowel Memorial Park. The aim of the third annual event was to raise funds and bring awareness to breast cancer. CIBC Listowel Run for the Cure raised a total of $5,653.70 from the event’s barbeque, pizza sales and wrestling show which took place after the run. To further support this cause, donations can be made at cancer.ca by clicking on the ‘donate to a run’ button and searching for the team ‘KHutchings-Hahn Listowel.’ (Kelsey Bent photo)
