30th anniversary of Wingham Ecological Park

Phil Beard and Chris Hart, original members of the Wingham Ecological Park Committee, spoke at an open house to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the park’s completion, hosted at the Alice Munro Public Library in Wingham on Aug. 20. A second anniversary celebration – a community walk – will take place on Aug. 28 with participants meeting at the former Wingham Train Station at 2 p.m. to walk the trail and to see plans for future development of the park upon their return.
