11U Legionnaires recognized by North Perth council

North Perth council presented medallions to the Listowel 11U Legionnaires in recognition for their OBA ‘C’ championship win at the Oct. 16 council meeting. Deputy Mayor Doug Kellum said “this is the fun part of the job,” as he recognized the young athletes. The 11U team put together a remarkable season from start to finish which included: a 46-6 record; four tournament wins; two separate 15-game winning streaks; topped with the OBA ‘C’ championship, hosted in Listowel.
