11U Legionnaires raise $1,500 for local dancers

Not only did the Listowel OBA 11U Legionnaires capture the provincial baseball championship earlier this month, but the club also managed to raise $1,500 for the group of Listowel School of Dance Team Canada members headed overseas later this year for competition. Donations came from the team’s families, Van Allen Insurance Inc., and umpires at the tournament, held over the Labour Day weekend.
