Thieves steal cell phones, tools, cigarettes from Lucknow home

LUCKNOW – South Bruce OPP are investigating a daytime theft that took place on Jan. 30 in Lucknow.

At 6:17 p.m. on Jan. 30, police received a report of a break-in from a home in the 500 block of Gough Street in Lucknow. Police say that sometime between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Jan. 30 the home was broken into.

Police say the missing property includes a quantity of Elite Menthol cigarettes, an undisclosed amount of coins, a DeWalt impact drill, a Kuny tool bag, an iPhone 7 and some older model cell phones.

The value of the stolen property is estimated to be more than $2,000.

The South Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122. Those wishing to remain anonymous are encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a secure web-tip at www.cstip.ca, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
