North Perth Chamber to publish keepsake calendar for 2023 year

NORTH PERTH – What began as a way to remember the ‘Sign Wars’ of Listowel has morphed into the creation of community keepsake calendars, with the next project being focused on Hometown Heroes.

The North Perth Chamber of Commerce realizes that there are many moments and many people that make us “North Perth Proud.” What better way is there to celebrate our community than documenting these memories to share in all our homes?

“We are blessed with incredible people in our community from the past and present that could easily fill our calendar pages,” said Sharon D’Arcey, general manager of the North Perth Chamber of Commerce. “Throughout the years gone by to current activities, we have people that have made us proud, and we want to feature these Hometown Heroes in our 2023 keepsake calendar.”

D’Arcey said the Chamber of Commerce is asking the public to submit names of Hometown Heroes for consideration in the 2023 calendar.

“If we get 12 submissions from the community, we will proceed with it,” she said.

The deadline for submissions is Aug. 10.

The Chamber is also looking for businesses to advertise on the calendar, promote special dates, anniversaries or events that are taking place in 2023. Also, fundraising opportunities exist for local service organizations to sell calendars.
