The 3rd annual Food Cycle Ride, again blessed with sunny weather, took to the Trailway and the roads around Centre Wellington on Sunday morning. It showed once more the generous spirit of our community — the participants, the volunteers and the sponsors — in supporting a vital institution, the Centre Wellington Food Bank. Every week many events take place for a variety of worthy causes which bring enjoyment and satisfaction to residents and visitors alike.
The Food Cycle Ride is gratified by the growing support and involvement of the community. Most importantly, we take satisfaction in knowing that the proceeds will help the Food Bank in its ongoing program to prepare soups, sauces and other delicious and healthy foods for those who depend on it. Thank you all again for your generous support.
