Brussels Agromart donates $50K to BMGCC reno project

BRUSSELS – The fundraising campaign for the Brussels, Morris and Grey Community Centre (BMGCC) renovation project has received another generous donation.

On Aug. 18, the Inspiring Our Future campaign announced Doug Koch and Steph Berlett of Brussels Agromart have committed $50,000 to the campaign.

Brussels Agromart is a full-service retailer of crop management solutions and also provides agronomy support and custom application services to their clientele. They are a longstanding business in the Brussels area. Koch and Berlett recently took over the business and hope to continue the businesses legacy of great service and a solid foundation in the Brussels community.

“The entire management team and staff here at Brussels Agromart are pleased to be able to make this donation in support of local youth and recreation,” said Koch. “This is a worthwhile project that will serve the community for years to come.”

According to a press release from the Inspiring Our Future campaign, the planned renovations at the BMGCC will “bring the facility up to modern standards, provide something for people of all ages and interests, and revitalize the facility to be a hub for recreation the community can take pride in.”

Any donations made to the Inspiring Our Future campaign will benefit the expansion of the dressing rooms, creation of an unobstructed heated viewing area, new entrance and foyer, roof replacement and several other modernizations.
